Cove gallery has a well established reputation for displaying the work of many local artists and prides itself on sourcing as much work as possible from Dorset. As well as stocking many fine original paintings, the gallery also offers a wide range of prints, ceramics, glass work, gifts and cards which Claire and Steve personally select and source.

Dansel Gallery first opened in Abbotsbury in 1979 and was founded by Danielle and Selwyn Holmes initially. It has a superb collection of work from some 200 artists exhibiting their innovative designs and unique styles displaying contemporary woodwork at its best.

Weymouth Museum is presently closed to the public except for its local history and information services. During the redevelopment of Brewers Quay it is being moved within the complex to a temporary location where it will open a gallery to the public on 1 March 2018.

Sandsfoot Castle, also known historically as Weymouth Castle, is an artillery fort constructed by Henry VIII near Weymouth, Dorset. It formed part of the King's Device programme to protect against invasion from France and the Holy Roman Empire, and defended the Weymouth Bay anchorage.
